Displaced woman from Badush, Iraq. 1st May 2017
This lady had to leave her hometown of Badush when the Iraqi army arrived to liberate the place from ISIS, who had been occupying the small town for over two years. She's been crammed into a very small house with her very large family in a a nearby hamlet for the six weeks since the liberation and is eagerly waiting to be allowed to go back to her hometown, which is currently being used as a base for American and Iraqi Army troops involved in the latest offensive to take the North West of the city of Mosul back from ISIS.
